Hello beautiful people! In honor of Earth Day, I wanted to share some clean skincare products that I recommend. I’ve noticed a lot of (new) brands are labeled as “clean.” So what does clean mean? Well, read this to get the idea (you might have to scroll down to the bottom), which I happen to think is great!
Most of these products can be found at Sephora, except the cleanser, but don’t worry I’ll make sure to link every product (as always).
I truly enjoy this gel-based cleanser because it removes dirt, oil, and makeup and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean, without any tightness. I’ve been using it for a little over 3 months now (morning and night) and I can’t recommend it enough!
+ YTTP 15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum
I was a little hesitant to purchase this serum because it is pricey, ($68) but I will say that I have noticed a BIG change in my skin! My skin appears more evened out, brighter, and my acne scars have lightened up a lot. This is a lightweight serum and one thing I appreciate about it is how quickly it absorbs into the skin. I use this every morning after washing my face.
Another great Vitamin C serum that I love! This is actually the first Vitamin C serum that I had ever used. I love the smell of this serum because it smells like sweet oranges! It is more affordable than the YTTP serum and I would recommend purchasing it, if you are in search of a Vitamin C serum. This also does a great job at improving any dullness in the skin. Take a look at the reviews and you’ll see I’m not the only one who thinks this serum is amazing. I noticed it is currently sold out at Sephora, but you can always check out the official Ole Henriksen website here.
+ Ole Henriksen Lemonade Smoothing Scrub
Yes, another Ole Henriksen product! Instead, this one smells just like lemonade! I use this scrub twice a week. I like to wait at least 3 days before I use it the second time. I look forward to using this because I know it has AHA’s, which help get rid of any dead skin cells that I have and my pores appear smaller.
+ Glow Recipe: Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask
I recenlty purchased this during the Sephora Spring Sale Event. My current eye cream wasn’t giving me the results I wanted, so I decided to test this one out. First thing that caught my attention was the packaging. Isn’t it so pretty? So, this eye cream has a rich, creamy texture and it comes with a tiny spatula/spoon to take out the product, which helps because it does have a smaller opening than a typical eye cream. It’s only been a week since I’ve been using it and so far I’ve noticed that my eye area feels a lot less dry, which was my main concern.
+ Glow Recipe: Avocado Ceramide Redness Relief Serum
I added this serum on my recommendations becasue of its five-star reviews. So, I’m assuming this is the serum you want if you suffer from any redness on your skin. Although I have noticed my redness decrease with my YTTP Vitamin C serum, I came across this particular serum and I honestly really want to try it becasue it is specifically for treating redness.
+ Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40+++
I forgot to add this sunscreen as part of my picks for clean skincare products! (thanks to one of you who reminded me! )This is a clear and odorless sunscreen and also works as a primer. I always use sunscreens that have at least an spf 30 or higher, that’s always been a preference of mine. I love that it has a very natural velvety finish so you can’t tell that you have anything on.
Let me know if any of you have tried any of these products and what you think of them.
XOXO, Vani
